In some states, such as Utah and Idaho, students are able to attend seminary during release-time from high school. These classes are taught daily by professional teachers. Classes are usually taught in a building adjacent to the junior high or high school.<br /> <br /> In other areas, seminary is taught in the early mornings, before school starts. &quot;Early morning seminary&quot;, is usually taught around 6 AM, by lay members of the church. Classes are either at a church, or a home.<br /> <br /> The four-year program studies the [[Book of Mormon]], [[Church History]] (which includes the [[Doctrine and Covenants]], the [[Old Testament]], and [[New Testament]].
